Springs Road Animal Hospital is looking for a customer services representative to join our team! Our client services representative are the welcoming face and organizational heartbeat of our veterinary hospital. This role is all about creating a positive client experience while supporting our medical team through excellent communication, scheduling, and front desk operations. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet clients and patients warmly in person and by phone
  • Schedule appointments, check patients in and out, and manage the daily schedule
  • Accurately enter and update client and patient information in the medical record system
  • Communicate clearly with clients regarding services, estimates, medications, and follow-up care
  • Process payments, invoices, and financial transactions
  • Assist with prescription refills, medical record requests, and client questions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk and lobby area
  • Work closely with veterinarians and support staff to ensure smooth patient flow
  • Handle sensitive or emotional situations with empathy and professionalism

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous customer service experience required (veterinary or medical office experience preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills and comfort learning practice management software
  • Compassion for animals and the people who love them
  • Team-oriented, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Weekend and/or holiday availability may be required.
